Wer ist Vivienne?

Vivienne ist eigentlich ein kleines Mysterium, da es seitens Louis Vuitton keine kolportierte Geschichte zu ihrer Entstehung gibt bzw. ich online keine gefunden habe. Vivienne ist eigentlich der Name eines Taschenmodells und ist für mich erstmals in der Herrenkollektion 2018 (Forever Vivienne) als Figur bzw. Maskottchen in Erscheinung getreten. Auf instagram wurde Vivienne mit dem Hashtag #findvivienne erstmals beworben. Seitdem ist ihre Beliebtheit ständig gestiegen und die Anzahl der Sammler und Liebhaber des kleinen Maskottchens stetig gewachsen.

Der Name "Vivienne" soll sich aus der Abkürzung "VVN" für das bekannte Vachettaleder (Naturleder) mit dem Louis Vuitton arbeitet, entstanden sein. Den Kopf bildet die gerundete Blume aus dem Monogram Print und das Auge aus der spitzen Blume der Prints, die Arme bilden 2 Clochette´s (Schlüsselglocken). Vivienne soll das 1. Maskottchen eines Highend fashion Hauses sein.

Who is Vivienne?

Vivienne is actually a bit of a mystery, as there is no story on the part of Louis Vuitton about her creation, or I haven't found one online. Vivienne is actually the name of a bag model and first appeared for me in the 2018 men's collection (Forever Vivienne) as a character or mascot. Vivienne was first promoted on instagram with the hashtag #findvivienne. Since then, her popularity has steadily increased and the number of collectors and lovers of the little mascot has grown steadily.

The name "Vivienne" is said to have arisen from the abbreviation "VVN" for the famous vachetta leather (natural leather) with which Louis Vuitton works. The head is formed by the rounded flower from the Monogram print and the eye from the pointed flower of the prints, the arms are formed by 2 clochette's (key bells). Vivienne is said to be the 1st mascot of a high-end fashion house.
